Numerical Investigation of Composite Marine Propeller Performance

Abstract

A numerical investigation was performed to evaluate the structural performance of composite marine propellers under hydrodynamic loading. Stress and deformation characteristics were analyzed using finite element methods. The results indicate improved efficiency and reduced structural weight compared with conventional metallic propellers.
