Numerical Investigation of Heat Transfer Enhancement in Compact Plate Heat Exchangers

Abstract

This study presents a numerical investigation of heat transfer enhancement in compact plate heat exchangers under various flow conditions. A three-dimensional computational model was developed to evaluate temperature distribution, pressure drop, and thermal efficiency. The results indicate that optimized channel geometry significantly improves heat transfer performance while maintaining acceptable pressure losses. The proposed design provides an effective solution for industrial heat recovery systems and contributes to the development of compact thermal management technologies.
