Numerical Investigation of Gear Tooth Contact Performance in Heavy Machinery

Abstract

This study evaluates the contact performance of gear teeth used in heavy machinery through numerical simulations. Contact stress, wear characteristics, and transmission efficiency were analyzed under various loading conditions. The optimized gear geometry significantly enhances durability and mechanical performance.
