Mechanical Stability Assessment of Offshore Lifting Equipment Under Extreme Loads

Abstract

This research presents a mechanical stability assessment of offshore lifting equipment operating under extreme environmental loads. Finite element analysis was applied to investigate stress concentration, structural deformation, and safety margins. The findings indicate that optimized structural designs substantially enhance lifting safety and long-term operational reliability.
