Optimization of Corrosion Protection Systems in Offshore Pipelines

Abstract

The reliability of offshore pipeline corrosion protection systems was evaluated through electrochemical simulation and field data analysis. Various cathodic protection strategies were compared to determine their long-term effectiveness. The proposed optimization method significantly reduces corrosion risk while extending service life.
